The Caldera is a hard-working modified cleaver design from CJRB Cutlery with an attractive angular look that more than pleases the eye. It may not look like it, but the handle is extremely comfortable to grip which makes this knife a pleasure to use. The weight of the broad cleaver blade allows for the ceramic bearings to really shine as the action is just so pleasing you'll find yourself flipping it open again and again. The modified cleaver blade provides an immense cutting edge an extremely sharp tip, while the flat grind makes this blade one powerhouse of a slicer. The liner lock is hidden within the handle design but it is quite easy to actuate and fold the blade closed. The Caldera is just the right size for most of us out there and at this price, we highly recommend you give it a shot, it may really surprise you.

Great blade, handle texture not too aggressive and will not tear up your pocket, easy opening with hole in blade and flicker, looks great, very smooth, lanyard hole, reversible pocket clip, finger choil,,, all that and more for $60? Not bad for EDC or just throwing/hanging in a backpack for camping.
