For a budget knife, it delivers every thing you could ask for. Vary easy to sharpen. This is my first knife with a finger flick option. Little tricky at first, but it easy to get that hang of.

The Caldera is a hard-working modified cleaver design from CJRB Cutlery with an attractive angular look that more than pleases the eye. It may not look like it, but the handle is extremely comfortable to grip which makes this knife a pleasure to use. The weight of the broad cleaver blade allows for the ceramic bearings to really shine as the action is just so pleasing you'll find yourself flipping it open again and again. The modified cleaver blade provides an immense cutting edge an extremely sharp tip, while the flat grind makes this blade one powerhouse of a slicer. The liner lock is hidden within the handle design but it is quite easy to actuate and fold the blade closed. The Caldera is just the right size for most of us out there and at this price, we highly recommend you give it a shot, it may really surprise you.
