CJBJ1942SJBREB: Pyrite Bowie Slipjoint Knife - Wood/Brass

CJRB Cutlery

The classic Pyrite folding knife, now in a slipjoint version. The Bowie blade slides on ceramic ball bearings and is opened with two hands. The blade is made from AR-RPM9, a proprietary steel that compares to D2 steel with an advantage in corrosion resistance. The handles are comfortable to hold and fit well in the hand thanks to their gentle curve and bevel designed to accommodate the index finger. This version of the Pyrite comes with a stonewashed blade, a wooden handle with brass bolsters, and a deep carry pocket clip that allows it to be discreetly carried with you wherever you may go.

It has “The Look”
I had coveted this knife for so long after I first saw it. It was love at first sight with that aggressive looking Bowie blade and traditional styling. Great modern take on a traditional slipjoint knife. Modern steel, pocket clip, quality materials, great price. Be warned the detent is strong. A good detent helps keep it from closing, but definitely a two-handed opening knife.
