The Pyrite uses a combination of its button lock mechanism with ceramic ball bearings in the pivot to make this knife quick to deploy and always ready in hand. The smooth action allows the blade to be flicked open with one hand with a press of the button lock or a flick of the thumb studs. This knife can easily double as a fidget toy with how much fun it is to use. The blade is made from AR-RPM9, a proprietary steel that compares to D2 steel with an advantage in corrosion resistance. The handles are comfortable to hold and fit well in the hand thanks to its gentle curve and bevel designed to accommodate the index finger. The Pyrite comes with a reversible deep carry stainless steel pocket clip that allows it to be discreetly carried with you wherever you may go.

In the market for a reliable, fun, and good-looking everyday carry knife without spending big? The Pyrite Button Lock delivers. It’s not perfect, and you’ll likely need to tolerate some break-in slack and maybe tweak things here and there, but the value per dollar is strong.And if you're someone who values smooth action, decent steel, and a solid build, it’s a great pick. If you're chasing perfection in detent strength, ultra-premium steel, or extremely tight tolerances, there are knives that beat it — but they cost quite a bit more.
