The Camillus Chunk features a 3.0" blade made from 420 stainless steel. With decent edge holding capabilities and being fairly easy to resharpen, 420 steel is a good balance of the most desirable traits for knife steel. The steel is bonded with Titanium that resists rust and corrosion and is up to 3x harder than untreated steel so the blade stays sharper, longer. The handle is made of glass-filled nylon (GFN), a material that is used in many of Camillus's knives. They add glass-filled materials to polypropylene, ABS and other substrates in order to provide the strongest, most rigid handles.
