Condor Tool & Knife

The name Atrox translates to terrible in Latin. Terrible indeed, as the Atrox Knife sports an intimidating 10.86" blade with a clip point that is a combination fighting survival tool that works double as a machete or a self-defense weapon. Dual Micarta handle scales give it an interesting look, but don't get fooled by aesthetics, it's ready to do ugly work right away. The included friction fit Kydex sheath with leather belt loop was manufactured by The 710 Custom Sheaths.

Designed by Joe Flowers

Joe Flowers is responsible for many of the interesting blade designs throughout the Condor product line. Joe writes for a myriad of magazines and publications, and contributes regularly to the outdoor community, concentrating in woodcraft and primitive living. His knowledge of outdoor gear led to consulting on equipment design and function for many companies. Joe holds a degree in Zoology with a minor in Entomology and researches heavily into all things outdoors. Joe Flowers teaches fitness, martial arts, organizes youth camps, and hosts outdoor skills and survival classes around the US. Joe is an avid naturalist, hunter, fisherman, herpetologist, videographer, beekeeper, knife thrower, guide, and regularly travels internationally in search of knife knowledge and unique animals. You can find Condor on Joe's side when he is deep in the Amazonian rainforest, or high in the deserts of Utah.

Best Bowie for your buck

This knife is really hard to hold and use to truly appreciate, the pictures truly don't do it justice. It's at the perfect thickness where you can still slice with it and use it for processing fish, game, or doing dinner work if you needed. Yet also chop down a 6" tree if you absolutely had to. It pierced incredibly well, throws surprisingly well, and is overall my new favorite user.

The only thing I'd adjust is to thicken up the handle where it narrows out; I just did a paracord wrap and it's great now.

This knife also came shaving sharp and was still so after its test of going through a pressure-treated 2x4.

Nice knife
Very Sharp big, beefy and balanced. Handle is not good looking, looks used, feels a little narrow in my hand but not bad. I covered it in leather that I tooled and now it's beautiful and feels great!

Came Sharp and the grind was clean and symetrical no burrs i expected to have to spend some time on the edge nope condor got this one right from the box.i may grind a finger notch ahead of the grip for choking up on the grip but nothing else needed
