Everything about this super tool is large-sized, though not as large as the original Makara. The Mid-Makara Machete has been scaled down, except for the handle, to make this a viable option for trail clearing, 2 handed chopping, or even self-defense. A 3mm distal tapered 14" long blade is carried with a button over quality leather sheath system.

Pleasantly surprised.
Rec'd 2 days ago, have used it a bit. Light and fast, you will be able to swing this all day if need be. Ergonomics are excellent with one or two hands. Lanyard hole on the exposed tang end is a nice touch.Blade finish and grind are spot on.Fit and finish on mine was above other Condors I own.Sheath is well made of leather, with integral dangler.Buy one, I think you'll love it
