Assisted opening, low profile and deep carry clip - EDC dream knife, anyone?
The Incendor™ is designed by veteran knifemaker, Ken Steigerwalt. It's an assisted opening knife that features the Outburst™ assist mechanism in combination with the Fire Safe™ thumbstud opening system. These two innovations combine to create an assisted opening knife that won't go off in your pocket, yet opens quickly and easily by pressing down on the FireSafe™ thumbstud and pushing outward.
The Incendor™ has a traditional drop point blade that's bead blasted, then coated with a gray titanium nitride finish. The blade has a slight hollow grind and is just under 3". A stainless steel locking liner keeps the knife secure when open. The G10 scales are milled with slight flourishes that add grip to the ergonomic handle. A deep carry pocket clip is designed for one position, tip-down carry.

I'm a big CRKT fan and I love this knife. It's a great size to carry. The only problem I have is the thumb stud release button fell off after one week. Can't use a knife without a blade release mechanism...

I needed a sturdy pocket knife for everyday carry, with a blade less than 3" to get into work location. This knife is all that, fits the hand well, fit/finish are good, blade locks securely in the open position, only less than good thing is the assisted opening push-button on the thumb stud, manipulating it easily takes a bit of getting used to... A good value...

It's sharp as hell out of the box. However, I'm still getting used to the outburst opening system after a couple of days. It's heavy, but very solid lock up. Some improvements would be some jimping and ability to mount the clip elsewhere. Tip carry could be done since the blade cannot be accidentally deployed with the outburst mechanism.
