Chris Reeve Knives

In the Sebenza, Chris Reeve Knives makes one of the finest premium folding knives on the planet, and after more than three decades since its introduction, the Sebenza 31 has been continually refined through the years to maintain its position as arguably the best pocket knife ever.

Sebenza means "work" in Zulu and these knives are intended to do just that. Built with handcrafted care at a production level, the Sebenza 31 has earned a worldwide reputation for rock-solid performance and a 'bank vault' feel. It is the knife that introduced the world to the frame lock over three decades ago, formally named the Reeve Integral Lock, and they still do it better than anyone. The "31" model uses a ceramic ball interface between the lockbar and the blade for stability and longevity of the mechanism, which is even more long-lasting than the steel interfaces that the competition use.

A timeless classic, open to lefties

I'm not usually a famelock person but this model screams "trustworthy" as soon as I hold it. I use mine as a tool—forest, everyday carry, camping—but at the same time it is a private jewel. I'm attentive to design and this balance between ruggedness and plain elegance is quite an achievement.Father to two sons, of which one is left-handed, I can now pass onto each of them, a large Sebenza. So yeah, I'm ever grateful to Chris Reeve Knives to offer the possibility of the full experience to all, event though it somehow impacts the production process.

Exceeded my expectations

Had the previous version in CPM S-30VN which I EDC'd for 6yrs and loved it. Once gutted and skinned three Caribou without sharpening. The fit and finish were amazing so I already had high expectations when I ordered this new version with CPM-MagnaCut. I can honestly say this is a big step-up in quality on a design I felt was perfect. I need more time to assess the changes with real world usage but so far I'm very impressed.
