The Thrower's 3/16" thick blade is ground to a strong spear point to withstand tens of thousands of throws. For versatility, knife has a strong utility edge that's plenty-sharp yet safe enough (with care) for those who prefer the "blade hold" throwing technique. Each knife is given a handsome, dark oxide finish to protect the blade from rust and eliminate glare.
For the steel, U.S. Premium high carbon is used with a custom heat treatment process to ensure a hard yet resilient blade that will "bounce back" undamaged from any throw. Plus, for comfort and versatility, we have wrapped the handle in five feet of parachute cord.
