We would have wagered anything that you hadn't seen a blade like this before until we got to Brian Tighe's table and saw what he had for the 2017 BLADE Show. Brian and Darrel Ralph, an entire country between them, both came up with the idea to bond a steel blade with a spine of another desirable material. True, composite blades have been around for years but to see them handmade on custom knives in non-production shops is new to us. This MOAB or Mother of All Blades Hacker model features a fusion pattern bond between the Chad Nichols stainless Wavepool Damascus and 6K Stellite cutting edge of the cleaver style blade. The handle is fully machined from titanium with an extremely ergonomic grip, milled lightening holes, and a polished satin finish. The backspacer and pocket clip are satin titanium to match the brushed satin finish of the blade. Darrel thought of everything on this knife and we're incredibly lucky to be able to offer it to you.
