I bought this as my son’s ( 8 years old ) first knife. It looks nice and opens fast with the spring assist. I personally wish the flipper was a tad bigger. Here’s the bad as suggested by the title. My son was literally shaving a stick, not more than 3/16 thick and the blade severely chipped. There was no knots he hit, it was just a typical straight dead stick. This is so disappointing because I wanted to like the knife and he was heart broken. I’m going to attempt to sharpen it out the best I can but the chip is long and deep. If I were you I’d keep scrolling and spend your money elsewhere.
