The Kansept Hira flipper knife, designed by Marco Panella, draws inspiration from a revered Japanese blade profile often used in longer blades including the katana and wakizashi. At its core, the Hira folder features a 3.46" modified tanto blade, crafted from Damascus steel. Notably, the blade's profile is modeled after the osoraku-zukuri style, characterized by an exceptionally long and prominent kissaki or tip section. This traditional Japanese geometry lends the Hira a strong, piercing point and a visually striking form. The blade features an acid-etched finish that highlights the patterns in the Damascus. 

The handle, made from tiger stripe flamed titanium, offers a solid grip and a fierce finish that complements the blade's pattern.
