Cons: Ease of Opening
Nice flipper
I agree somewhat with the previous reviewer. The flipper tab does need some jimping added. But as far as it being too hard to open - mine was a little tight, but I just loosened the pivot screw a tiny bit and those problems went away. The button lock works great, and it's a nice rounded button, unlike most knives. This micarta is superb and will look even better once a patina develops.

poor flipper tab ergonomics detract from otherwise nice knife
This knife has a lot of great qualities. I love the look of it. It feels great in the hand. It arrived shaving sharp. The pocket clip is nice. The button lock works flawlessly. The flipper tab, however, is too small, too slippery (no jimping), and is angled in such a way that your finger can't get a good purchase on it. Also, even with bearings in the pivot, the action is stiff enough that it is not easy to fully open the knife without deliberately applying strong pressure to the tab. Overall, these qualities make the flipper tab not very fun to actuate. I frequently found myself having to apply pressure in uncomfortable ways in order to actuate the flipper without having my finger slide off. For me, it really took a lot of pleasure out of using this knife.
