This Petty kitchen knife features authentic Japanese craftsmanship. The Petty knife is used to fill a similar role to paring knives in the handling of small or delicate kitchen tasks. The "Zen-Bokashi" series blade is made with a blue steel #2 core with 11 layers of Damascus. This provides an attractive and natural Damascus pattern on the blade. The traditional O-shaped handle is made from red sandalwood and has a black plywood bolster.
