The Endeavour is yet another evolution of a Liong Mah Design superbly executed by Reate Knives. It incorporates a number of innovative features never before seen on a Reate/Mah collaboration. With its super swift/smooth action and utilitarian tactical design, this is one flipper you won't be able to put down. The Endeavour is the first knife to use orange peel textured hardware and a backspacer-less design, both of which were executed perfectly.

The 3.75" blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with hand rubbed satin flats and machine flat ground satin bevels. Liong has the steel shipped all the way from Speciality Metals in Texas to China and back again. This ensures the best quality steel is used and that each piece is uniform in terms of grain structure and hardness. The action using the compact flipper tab or 3D milled slot in the blade is smooth and authoritative, flying out of the blade with the lightest touch. The flipper tab disappears into the frame when deployed which is always a nice touch. You have perfectly executed jimping on the thumb ramp and a finger choil for choking up on for fine detail work.

The handles are made from two half-inch billets of titanium with contoured edges, internal lightening pockets, and a very ergonomic shape. The backspacer is integrated into each half of the handle and it incorporates a lanyard hole and jimped thumb ramp in the reverse grip. This design gives the presentation side of the knife a very clean look with only a pivot screw holding everything together. The clip also starts as a half inch billet of titanium and instead of inserting a ball bearing in the front, like a Begg-style clip, David's team milled a ball out of the titanium so it functions very similarly. The clip is blind screwed from the interior of the frame, keeping with the hidden hardware theme of the Endeavour design.
