Liong Mah's 15-Year Anniversary Knife, dubbed the XV, is simply put... amazing. Liong wanted to do something different with this knife, something he'd never done before and decided an integral handle design was the way to go. Teaming up with Reate Knives once again, who have been doing integral designs for some time now, it was destined for greatness from the first design stroke. This knife is large enough to be a formidable tactical tool yet so beautiful, precise, and ergonomic that you'll want it with you at all times. Get your hands on an XV while you can, Liong has limited the total to only 300 pieces across a number of different finishes.

The problem some people have with integral handle knives is that there is a cost associated with the durability you get from a single-piece titanium handle and that's the weight. They are often heavy just due to their design but Liong, being the conscious designer he is, added vented millings to the outside ala Michael Burch of Burchtree Bladeworks. He gave Liong his blessing to use what we believe is one of the coolest millings options around for his XV design. The full four inch CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade is hand-compound ground and features a two-tone brushed satin finish with stonewashed bevels. The radical sculpting of the handle will mold to your hand and is one of the most striking we've ever seen on a mid-tech knife. It also incorporates a replaceable lockbar insert/overtravel arrestor and reversible pocket clip which are excellent design features not found on every knife of this quality. It is one of the best knives we've seen this year and it will probably be the same case this time in 2018, it's awesome!
