LionSteel

The bestMAN is a traditional folding knife born to be your closest friend in the everyday duties. LionSteel goes back to the classics, developing a modernized version of this knife with innovative technology, tight tolerances, and high-quality materials. It's the kind of knife your grandfather wished he'd carried and that you will be able to hand down to your future generations.

Two versions of the bestMAN are available; either with a single M390 sintered stainless steel Clip Point blade or with two M390 blades, a Clip and a Wharncliffe. All the variations come with 6Al4V titanium bolsters, while the scales can be made of olive, ebony or santos wood, natural canvas Micarta or carbon fiber. The bestMAN is the ideal slipjoint knife to carry with you in every situation for its lightweight yet versatile nature and compact form factor. It'll slip into a fifth pocket or carry in a pouch on the belt equally well and you won't find better build quality on a production traditional knife anywhere in the world.

Double Bladed Jewel of a Slip Joint
I also have the single bladed clip point, so I’m familiar with this double bladed version. I use gentleman’s knives almost exclusively these days. I have built quite a collection of high quality pocket knives from Rockstead, Chris Reeve, Spyderco, Benchmade, and the Italian Maniago Knife Manufacturer’s, including LionSteel. These MKM knives are absolutely if the highest quality in materials and workmanship. It’s on the same par as any of the high-end manufacturers, and the LionSteel BestMan series is even exceeds this. What puzzles me is how they manage to make a profit. For under $150 from KnifeCenter, you can have a heirloom grade folder in your pocket. Grab one of the BestMan folders while you can get one. You won’t regret it.
