Maserin 989 BeluM Fixed Blade Knife 8.27" N690 Satin Spear Point Blade, Santos Wood Handle, Leather Sheath
Description
ME989: 989 BeluM
Maserin
The 989 BeluM is a dagger-style fixed blade that was created in memory of the great-grandfather of the Maserin creators, Giuseppe Maserin whose nickname was "Belu". Combining this nickname with the "M" from Maserin's name gave them the name BeluM which references the Latin term "bellum" meaning war. This spear point knife is styled to be similar to bayonets that were made in Maniago, Italy. The blade is made from a nearly 0.2" thick bar of N690 stainless steel. N690 is an Austrian steel with excellent edge-holding properties. The finger guard and pommel are made from 316LS stainless steel and are salt and water-resistant. The smooth handle scales are made from smooth Santos wood and add to the sleek appearance of this instant classic. The BeluM comes in a green wooden crate that is styled and designed to resemble military crates from around WWII. The BeluM comes with a black leather sheath.
