MNTMU5B: MU-5B Garbanzo

Mantis Knives

This knife inspired by the color of Alta Lake in Whistler, B.C. It's got that light gray haze to it... we had to pay homage to that beautiful piece of nature after a brief trip there at the end of August 2009.

The "Garbanzo" name came from the chair lift that Mantis was on when the amazing color was first witnessed. Just another example of how personal some of this stuff gets.

Instant Classic
This design is so original, and so well executed, that you have to get one and maybe a couple for gifts. For my personal taste, I rounded the spine- the rear point seemed like it could snag on a coat liner etc.- took 10 minutes and now it's perfect. When people ask what it is, I tell them it's a transponder so the mother ship can find me.

The coolest knife!
This knife is great as a conversation starter.I hang it on my right pants pocket (though i could hang it virtually anywhere because of it's sheath mechanism). Everywhere i go, people stop to ask me what the heck it is. I've even met a girl or two because of it!This is the coolest knife i own, and i've bought tons here at Knifecenter...
