Ontario Hiking Knife
I just received my Ontario Hiking knife, a little disappointed. The knife looks like it was used. The blade is dull OTB first of all, surprisingly for OKC. I own several others, not a big collection of them, but this is dull, obviously I'll fix that, but it couldn't even slice paper. The spine looks dirty and unfinished. It looks like they were going to add jimping on the spine then decided not to, but didn't repair the spine. Also has color variation along the spine. I'll work with it hopefully I'll improve it. The size, handle and sheath are good. I'm being generous with 4 stars.

Was excited to get this....
The knife itself is nice, great shape and the handle is nice. However, the blade itself looks like it was stamped out and never polished. The blade grind is heavily grooved and this is the dullest knife I have ever purchased out of the box? Would not cut paper or even my fingernail. For the price I'm not disappointed, I put a nice sharpening on it and will carry every day for a bit to see how it does in real world. Nice leather sheath and fits nicely. Made in the USA, just wish they would take a little more pride in end product.

Great knife
Hiking ADK high peaks you want to have a reliable knife that is light weight but sturdy. The OKC hiking knife is a little more compact and lighter than the ADK series knives I have so depending on the hike has its place in my quiver. Excellent grip control. Great knife!
