OP001221: N07 Scouts Folding Knife Set, Blunt Tip, Stainless Steel

Opinel

The Opinel N07 is perfect for those who feel that the N06 could be a little larger. The "in-between" size of the N07 classifies this knife as neither small or big. This knife features a round ended tip for added safety. Stabilized beechwood is ultra resistant and comfortably contoured to fit the hand. The blade is made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless steel, which will not rust, however try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.

Safety

  • This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife. The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.

Great whittler and first pocketknife
I got this knife about two years ago and it still works great. I never have to sharpen of check it to see how it’s doing. It is probably the sharpest knife I have seen. The sheath is good too and the locking mechanism on the knife works great and is fun and easy to do. This is a great knife.
