The Opinel N07 is perfect for those who feel that the N06 could be a little larger. The "in-between" size of the N07 classifies this knife as neither small nor big. This knife features a round ended tip for added safety. Stabilized beechwood is ultra-resistant and comfortably contoured to fit the hand, with a beautiful blue finish. The blade is made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless steel, which will not rust, however, try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.
Safety
- This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife. The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.
