Opinel Knives
The Opinel N06 is the smallest model that features the Virobloc safety ring. This little knife is nonthreatening and very durable. It is small enough to be placed in a pocket or purse and will "deliver" when needed. Stabilized Walnut Wood is ultra-resistant and comfortably contoured to fit the hand. The blade is made from 12C27 Sandvik Stainless steel, which will not rust, however, try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.
Safety
- This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife.The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.

nice little knife
This knife fits in your pocket well, and it really doesn't weigh anything at all. I kind of like the style of the knife and that it locks closed and open. The blade was fairly sharp, but I touched it up a little. Now it is shaving sharp. I think that it's a neat little knife that most people would find nonthreatening. the only thing that I didn't like was that the one that came to me in the mail didn't have the same design on the handle, and it was a little darker wood. I don't mind though because it is walnut. I really like having it in my pocket. I would recommend this knife for anyone who just wants a small stainless knife in their pocket. it works the way that it's supposed to.

Excellent for your First Aid Kit
This knife is small and sharp + stainless steel. I use it in my hunting First Aid Kit for cutting bandages removing thorns or doing a Cricothyrodotomy (making a surgical Airway). I use this knife for no other use but my First Aid Kit -- keeps it clean and razor sharp, Lessons the chance of infection.
