This custom Hamachi flipper is a typical example of the work of Pohan Leu; simple, beautiful and quality. At first glance, the blade may look straightforward and ordinary, but it is really anything but and you can tell it's the work of a true master. It has a brushed satin finish over the entire thing with intricate, precise grind lines and a zero edge. It rides smoothly utilizing the IKBS pivot bearing system and the action is ultra-fast and satisfying. We saw Pohan talking with RJ Martin at the last show and he seems to have dialed in his detent for surprisingly swift, authoritative action. The titanium handle is a very squared-off shape with a gorgeous presentation scale made from lightning strike carbon fiber with an orange peel copper bolster. The frame lock is stonewashed titanium, the backspacer is carbon fiber, and the pocket clip is orange peel textured zirconium. Pohan does an excellent job milling an area for your finger to disengage the lock, it's comfortable and effortless to use. This is a gorgeous knife that will instill the confidence in you that it will perform above and beyond what you ask of it.
