QSP Knives
The Hamster is a small size flipper perfect for those quick jobs encountered everyday. The 2" blade is perfect for small tasks like opening boxes but the width of the blade still allows you to bear down on those more stubborn cuts. The blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a two-tone satin finish that both performs well and holds up to those daily uses. The flipper tab opening is driven on ceramic ball bearings providing a quick but smooth action that feels great to use. The handles are made from titanium with a raised milled pattern in the middle that adds additional traction for a strong grip. The backspacer extends down past the handle of the knife to form a pointed bashing tip. The knife locks up with a frame lock mechanism and comes complete with a titanium pocket clip.

Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Titanium Handles
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
Frame Lock
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
S35VN Stainless Steel
An evolution of the popular S30V steel, S35VN offers a greater degree of toughness without much sacrifice in edge retention. Perfect for mid-range and premium knives.

The principal use for this knife is as a "gentleman's EDC. The construction is very good with no play in the blade, the operation is smooth but is not a fidget friendly piece. The pocket clip is nice and firm but not a deep carry. With the blade open the flipper serves to protect your finger from sliding up on to the blade, although it is not very pronounced it does serve its intended purpose.The only concern I have is that when holding the open knife it does not fit my hand very well. I can only get a two finger purchase on the handle and thus it creates a perception on not having control of the knife when in use.Having said these things I do like the knife. As mentioned earlier the construction is very good, it is sharp straight out of the box. I enjoy the diminutive size for an EDC.
