Rockstead TEI-ZDP lives up to its reputation for quality and existence
Other than blade material technology there are not any difference in my estimation between the the Rockstead TEI-ZDP and the TEI_DLC so this review will essentially be the same as my review of the TEI-DLC. A difference in price between these two models does exist. The Rockstead TEI-ZDP s a tremendous knife that you can put into a pocket or into a belt carrier. It is easily carried but the unusual quality or "soul" of the knife is that it has the aura of a large Japanese Sword. Realizing the blade is a folding blade and it is not fixed it still commands my attention as a remarkable sword. Undoubtedly the videos of this knife cutting hundreds of perfect sections of rope go a long way of speaking to and supporting my sword characterization and the durable nature of this folder.The knife itself is unlike any other that I have seen. It is true about the fabled quality and finish of the knife and the blade finish is actually incredible. Rockstead has in my opinion correctly categorized and titled this knife as their "Flagship" and it is. If you want to go the extra distance in the purchase of a knife you can do no wrong and possibly no better with than other folders then the TEI (either ZDP or DLC) is for you. It is that good.
