SDKTCK20: TCK 2.0 Slipjoint Folding Knife

Sandrin Knives

This ultra-thin blade will out-cut any steel knife on the planet.

Sharper, thinner, and harder than any blade ever crafted, the TCK is an ultra-thin Gentleman's Folder suited for everyday carry. Equipped with the patented Polyhedral Tungsten Carbide, which boasts a Rockwell Hardness of 71HRC, the TCK vastly outperforms steel. Scientifically proven to hold a sharp edge longer than any other knife, the TCK may be the last EDC you will ever need. It is designed to cut and cut, and then cut some more.

When you carry a pocket knife you expect it to be sharp and ready to cut when you need it. The first generation of Tungsten Carbide Folding Knives, the TCK and TCK 416, proved that these blades cut better and stay sharp at least 4x longer than the highest quality steel knives. Sandrin Knives has taken what they learned from these first designs and improved the handle ergonomics as well as changed to a slipjoint locking mechanism for the TCK pocket knife.

The 2.0 is an evolution of the original TCK, a proof-of-concept knife that the industry thought impossible. The TCK 2.0 features slipjoint construction with stainless handles finished in a black vapor deposition and accented with a red liner for a touch of style. The blade is mirror polished and finished in a black Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) finish. The two-handed opening mechanism is aided via the Fibonacci-inspired holes in the blade.

Tungsten Carbide Knives

Beginning with Sandrin's patented blend of powders from Sandvik and a special process to eliminate brittleness, Sandrin knives are finished with the kind of precision and expertise that only comes with 40 years experience grinding Carbide.

Neither steel nor ceramic, they're the perfect combination of hardness and strength whose extraordinary precision can be measured to lightband tolerances. And with an outstanding hardness of 71HRC, simply put, they're nothing short of the hardest and most durable knife blades that have ever been made.

Sharp and perfect
For general cutting and food prep it slices like a laser. I normally use folders with thin edges but the Sandrin line and their Tungsten is excellent. I cannot sharpen or even strop a blade today after injuries to my hands and eye so factory edge is very important. This knife is push cut sharp and after watching many reputable videos of edge retention cutting tests it’s the best. By far. It looks great. It is a slip joint but easy to open even for me.
