The Jackal Pup is a smaller version of the Jackal, a fantastic heavy-duty design. The handle just melts into your hand and its placement in relation to the blade is just superb. It slices through material with minimal pressure, making it safer to use. The thickness of the blade stock at 0.135" means this knife can handle abuse many others cannot and it gives it a very positive weight in the hand despite its size. The tan Micarta is grooved to bring out the pattern and it provides a very good, non-slip grip when paired with the excellent jimped thumb ramp. The blade features a black PVD finish that is both durable and tactical and it comes with a friction-fit Kydex Sheath. Tactical, camping, or hunting applications - the Jackal Pup can do everything its predecessor can do.
