Its full-flat-ground, satin-finished blade is meticulously crafted from state-of-the-art CPM-REX 121 tool steel. Renowned for its extreme hardness and edge-holding prowess, this extraordinary steel boasts over three percent carbon, along with high levels of tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, and cobalt. Retaining all features of the standard Sage 5 Lightweight, it includes a robust Compression Lock mechanism, nested stainless steel liners, a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, and a lightweight, injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. Accentuating its advanced blade material, the FRN handle is cast in a striking burnt-orange hue.

The knife does what it’s supposed to. The biggest con is the price. I bought this bra cause I want to see just how long it will keep an edge in a construction setting . So far so good.

Perfect size for around the house
I really enjoy this handy little critter. Opening envelope, Cutting twine, those kinda everyday tasks. The star of the show is the blade and the steel used. It's harder than woodpeckerlips. I own many diamond hones so that's not a problem for me. I can shave with it now.Perfect blade for a steel Junkie like me
