Crafted from ultra-corrosion-resistant LC200N, the Carribean is available with either a PlainEdge or SpyderEdge and is full-flat ground for superior edge geometry. All other features—including precision- machined, two-toned handle scales, a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, and a reversible tip-up titanium pocket clip—are identical to its leaf-bladed counterpart, making the Caribbean Leaf one of the classiest and most capable mariner's knives available.
LC200N Steel
Virtually corrosion-proof, with excellent toughness and enhanced edge retention compared to other rust-proof steels like H1.
Pocket Clip
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
G10 Handles
Formed in a sheet under high pressure by combining fiberglass and an epoxy resin binder. These handles are lightweight and shaped to ensure a solid grip.

There is nothing on the Spyderco Caribbean Salt folding knife that I can find fault with. From blade design and material of construction to the uniquely machined and visible G10 handle to the smoothness of blade opening and operation of the compression lock… All superbly done. I own several of the premium Spyderco folding knives and this one so far is my favorite.

If you’re looking for a folder to carry with you while out deep sea fishing, this blade is perfect. I have carried it with me on 4 trips so far. Each time it was soaked in salt water (as was I) and used for cutting up bait (sardines and squid). So far so good! Not a single spot of rust and no chipping. As soon as I get home, I just wash it off in the sink, dry it, then drop oil into the pivot. I couldn’t ask for more from a sea worthy blade.
