K390 MICROCLEAN is a state-of-the-art cold work tool steel made by Bohler-Uddeholm. Specially formulated to withstand the rigors of demanding industrial applications, its advanced alloy composition also makes it an exceptional blade steel—and the defining feature of an elite family of Spyderco lightweight knives. A proud addition to this breed, the K390 Endela showcases this remarkable blade material in the perfect "in-between" size for an everyday carry knife. Its Bi-Directional Textured handle is also injection-molded in the distinctive blue color reserved for this high-performance family of cutting tools.
Please note: K390 is a high-performance, non-stainless steel that can rust if cared for improperly. Always make sure to clean and dry your blade after use, and apply oil or other rust-inhibiting products if needed.

This is my first Spyderco knife although I own three sharp makers including one from the 1980’s in the leather roll. This is a great slicer with killer steel, a firm grip and nice lockup.It makes a nice addition to my collection, da** you knife center with your great customer service and lusty videos.
