The SRM Asika has a shark-like appearance, modern style with simple lines, while its performance and materials are also great. A quality stainless steel made in the USA by Crucible Industries that offers a solid balance of edge retention, stainlessness, and toughness.
Frame Lock
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.

Blade alignment issues
Really like it but the blade alignment is bad after very little open and closing. Haven’t even done anything close to hard use yet. Maybe I’ve been spoiled with Civivi for the same price. Titanium handles is nice and the blade is an interesting shape. Not giving up on this knife yet.

A GREAT USA made knife
I don't know why but I had never heard of SRM knives. I just got this Large Asika & have to say I'm impressed. A knife with almost a 4" blade, made in the USA with American steel for $115. WHAT? This is a long knife that doesn't feel big because it is thin. Thinner than a Spyderco Para 2 with way more cutting edge. The fit & finish are great, amazing at this price point. The action feels like it needs to disassembled, cleaned & lubed. I suspect a grease of some type & not KPL. I will post another review after carrying & using this knife.
