This steel exhibits extreme toughness and excellent edge retaining capabilities. The blade can be deployed via the dual thumb studs or flipper tab, although the lack of a detent may require a light wrist flick in order to deploy the blade. The handles are made from aluminum with wood inserts and stainless steel liners. The M&P Bodyguard is a great value tactical flipper knife from Smith & Wesson.
