The black coating on the 8Cr13Mov full-tang blade provides a tactical edge to this knife. The sawback ridges on the back of the blade and the hammer pommel both provide extra functionality, making this knife invaluable. This knife comes with a hard synthetic sheath that allows it to hang from a belt.

Great Value for Its Performance!
The Smith & Wesson 7" Special Ops is an excellent value for the performance it offers. It was sharp out of the package and everything was solid. No hand guard movement. The handle is comfortable and offers a good grip. The only downside is that the knife doesn't lock into the sheath. It needs to be strapped in otherwise the knife can pop out. The sheath fits very well on my waist belt. I can't feel the sheath while hiking. It's that comfortable. I recommend the Smith & Wesson 7" Special Ops knife for survival and combat/defense..

I am using this product as a self defense weapon. The knife it's self is amazing but the down side is that you have to replace the Sheath.

good knife, sheath sucks though. i would recommend replacing the sheath with a kabar sheath.
