Smith & Weston 3.1" Special Ops Knife
Excellent knife. Smith & Wesson knives are extremely well made. This is the first assisted open knife I have owned, I love it but hope I don't run into any legal issues with it. I only use it when I am on the job. Opens exactly like a swithblade. Blade is very sharp and sharpens up very well. Has a nice balance and feel. The only negative is the pocket clip which all knives seem to have and I dislike.

Slightly bigger version of the same great knife
Overall this family of knives seem to be very well made. I agree with most of the other comments on here. What I think this knife really needs, however, is a sheath instead of a clip. It's just big enough to make you NOT want to carry it in you pocket, and I haven't seen a clip yet that doesn't invite the loss of your knife. The grip tape under the clip may as well not be there because it sure doesn't help you grip the knife.

Decent
When i first got this knife, i was impressed. it is pretty sturdy and feels good in the hands. it wasnt all that sharp out of the box, but i fixed that pretty quickly. i definately like the assisted opening, its fast and works great, and the lock on it also works perfect. the only cons i have are the "griptape" on the handle rubbed against my hands when they would be in my pocket, and kinda tore up the insides of my pockets, so i ended up just peeling off the grips. the only other con is that the handle is made of plastic. not that this is a big deal, but it seems like after a while this knife would begin to fall apart
