Exactly what I needed
Buy once, cry once applies here. The cost for the El Chete is more than the other choppers I was considering, but it was the perfect fit for my needs. I burn regularly on my property, especially after hurricane clean up. I wanted something big and sturdy enough for batoning lighter knots into small pieces for fire starters. I was tired of trying lesser knives and cheap machete type choppers. This big boy came sharp enough to get through that hard pine lighter. It pretty much has one job and it does it well. I wish I could add a picture of it in a large lighter.
