TOPS Knives

The Trailhead Kukri, designed by Jason Swain, is a modern take on a design that has been around for 400 years or more. Jason originally set out to design an EDC that he didn’t see anywhere else. He thought about his days as a biker and his experience with knives. He has always been a fan of karambit style knives, but also a fan of kukris. At first glance, those two don’t necessarily mix. But with a bit of creativity, they actually make a really awesome knife. The Trailhead Kukri is a good example of blending different shapes in a way that makes sense. It is great as a camping/hiking blade, but not too large to be used as a fixed blade EDC.

The sheath is set up for appendix carry but can be easily modified to be methods of carry. It is strong, capable, and comfortable with TOPS’ famous differentially heat treated 1095, sniper grey Cerakote, and black canvas Micarta handles.
