TRM has earned a reputation for sleek, lightweight, slicey, and user-friendly knives with top-tier construction, complex machining, tight tolerances, and outstanding fit and finish, with customer service frequently described as "above and beyond." Launched in the summer of 2018, TRM quickly saw overwhelming demand for the Neutron liner lock. Despite its popularity, many users requested a deep-pocket carry clip and expanded scale options similar to the larger Atom model.
To mark the Neutron’s second anniversary, TRM responded with the Neutron 2 (aka NEWtron), introduced in September 2019. Pocketed liners support a wide variety of scale materials and machining styles - titanium scales, carbon fiber, FatCarbon, Micarta, G10, G11, and Tek-Wood. Scale hole patterns were also updated to accommodate either a deep-carry titanium clip or the original Neutron Classic bent titanium clip. Core features remain unchanged, including the thin blade stock, 3" CPM-MagnaCut blade, and custom titanium thumb studs and barrel spacers. The Neutron 2 maintains its sleek, lightweight build and arrives razor-sharp, ready for everyday tasks.
All TRM Neutrons are manufactured and assembled in the USA using domestic materials and suppliers, except for FatCarbon, which is produced in Lithuania. Every blade is proudly etched with "USA."

Great knife overall
I love this knife but it did ship with a very gritty action and bad blade centering. I was able to get it running smooth and now it’s one of my favorite knives in my collection.
