Description

VP5962TIBL: Jesper Voxnaes Lille Folding Knife - Blue Titanium

Viper Knives

Designed by Jesper Voxnaes, the Lille flipper by Viper Knives is a synthesis of "Made in Italy" aesthetics and Danish functionality. A jewel for knife lovers, it was born to replicate the technological and mechanical qualities of a big sporting knife but on a much smaller scale. Titanium handle scales, a Bohler M390 sintered stainless steel blade, and a ball bearing mechanism for opening the blade make it ready for whatever life can throw at you.

The Lille is available in multiple versions, combining shades of blue and bronze colors with natural and darkened titanium. The original "tie" dresses the handle with elegance, allowing dual color combinations and giving a very enjoyable tactile feel. The Lille is both nice to look at and to touch while the "click" of the liner lock engaging soft and clear and provides solid lockup. The clip is attached to the backspacer allowing it to fit completely into the pocket so it won't get lost. This compact flipper is built to mimic a larger tactical knife and it does indeed perform similarly with a unique look that is right at home in any pocket.

Italian made gem
I just received this knife today and I love it! Thank you Knife Center for unbelievably fast delivery on this item. Beautiful piece work here. Great flipper action and excellent grip on the handle. The fat belly blade is M390 is amazing to work with. Super sharp out of the box. If you can find one get it. You won’t be disappointed at all. I’m just sorry I didn’t get me one sooner.

Pros: Weight, Blade Material, Overall Quality
Cons: Pocket Clip
Good and interesting nice. Some limitations.
This knife is used primarily in a dressier environment. It looks nice but it’s not a jewelry knife, which I like. It has an interesting and pleasing aesthetic and is quite unique. The action is a tad rough, but might smooth out after awhile. The big belly of a blade is pretty but it’s helpful to understand the limitations of the design, which present no issues for me. The clip, unfortunately, is not very good. If you like to clip your knife to a pair of jeans or something like that thickness, it really won’t work because the clip is short and narrow and that width of fabric just bends the clip at an alarming angle rather than achieving any purchase onto the pocket. It works better with dress pants or something similarly thin. I’m not unhappy with the purchase, and you won’t be either, so long as you understand you’re getting a nicely built knife which will be unlike anything else you have, while understanding it’s intended use.
