Yep, same issues as everyone else...handle is too small
Great blade shape, poor handle design. I even love the gold matter scales, superb-looking. However, you have to be super careful while operating this piece because when closing, it has a tendency to allow the meaty part of your palm (yeah, weird) to ride into the handle opening and the blade may drop onto your palm slightly. The handle just needs another 0.25" in every direction. For a folding knife, I'd take M390 over Magnacut for the edge retention, but, it's splitting hairs really.

Great Knife, but…
Beautiful knife, great blade extremely sharp out of the box, but I too suffered a cut on the palm of my hand when closing the knife. I agree, that the knife frame/handle needs to extended slightly. I’m extra careful closing this knife now.

Great knife, with a small but significant flaw
My first impression of this knife was that it could easily replace the Hogue Deka as my all-time favourite folder. Stunning materials and fit-and-finish. However, after playing with it for a bit, I noticed a small but pretty significant flaw. The handle is a bit too short, and leaves too little room behind the blade tip. I nicked the palm of my hand a couple of times when I was closing it one-handed. I've never had this issue with other crossbar lock knives. I've compared this with the Deka and the Deka has around 2-3mm extra on the end of the handle, allowing for a much more care-free opening and closing. I don't have giant hands either, just a Size L glove size. The handle's grooves are also too small, and my pinky has to go on the butt-end of the handle, near where the belt clip screws are. I also wish the belt clip was ambidextrous.
