Great affordable Dagger - reminiscent of more expensive classics
Ordered this more as a novelty. Wanted a dagger but didn’t want one bad enough to pay hundreds for something like an Applegate. This knife is well worth the price. It is somewhat heavy - very solid. The grip great - comfortable and non-slip texture. The 440C steel is fine for the price. The knife doesn’t come that sharp but it is very easy to put a nice edge on it. Not sure if this is accurate, but I read they “serrations” served more to create a larger wound channel than to actually cut or saw anything. They are very dull and flat…. Not serrations, but just notches in the blade. I used a pointed diamond pocket sharpener to file them and give the “serrations” pointy teeth instead of dull notches. Only took 10 minutes. Again, I see this knofe as more of a novelty. If you want a usable modern dagger or boot knife that is easy to carry, I would suggest something like the Cold Steel Korbun. However this Walther is just more fun to see on a shelf and pick up to handle. Feels reminiscent of something from the past. It is certainly not a toy and is a legit dagger, but my only intention was to buy as a neat novelty. And why not at the great price. I thought the sheath was better than expected for the price. It is innovative. Large study belt loop. Has a metal clip you can modify for IWB carry, clip on a belt, clip on a bag, boot carry. Has a suspender clip / shoulder strap. Decent quality and innovative. I wouldn’t carry it. Pretty heavy / bulky but for the money the sheath was better than expected and is usable.

Partial Review
I haven't had a chance to really see this thing used because I bought it for an Christmas present later this year. I can say from looking it over that the quality of the knife itself seems very impressive especially considering the price. The bevela looked good and it seemed to be fairly sharp. It's definitely a heavy knife but it's not going to really be used for carrying so no worries there. The sheath seemed really cheap and honestly the biggest issue with the purchase. Calling it usable is a stretch and these days there's really no excuse for sheaths this cheap. I'd also recommend a better knife steel, even if it bumps the price up a bit. There are several much better options at this price point and a bit above. Overall I'd still recommend it at this price.
