The Work Tuff Gear Wolverine Gen 2 is a medium-format survival fixed blade built to fill the gap between compact EDC knives and large choppers, and the Gen 2 update delivers meaningful improvements across the board. The 6.7" Böhler K329 drop point blade steps up from the original's SK85 or A8Max steel for improved toughness and edge stability, and a newly added false edge improves penetration efficiency for thrusting tasks without compromising the blade's versatility. At 0.187" thick with a saber grind and convex edge, it handles batoning and light chopping with authority while a thumb ramp and ergonomic handle geometry give the carrier precise control for detailed work like carving and feather sticking. The 90-degree spine is ground sharp for reliable ferro rod strikes, and the slightly enlarged Gen 2 handle provides a fuller, more secure grip during extended use. A Kydex sheath rounds out the package. At 15.3 oz and 11.8" overall, the Wolverine Gen 2 is a genuinely capable field tool with no gimmicks and no wasted material.
