I bought this knife in black here, at another dealer, and bought the same model in Orange/Black from another vendor. On first blush these are nice knives; the sound of the blade closing is like a fine Colt .45 1911 trigger...however, this knife model has major issues. The black one purchased here had a very large burr on the tip of the blade. Instead of sending it back, I just ground off the burr with a whetstone; however, this took the black finish off the tip of the blade. Unacceptable for a knife of this price. More troublesome are the locking mechanism and the steel used for the blades. On both of my knives, the lock is very sloppy, does not positively lock into place, and therefore is unpredictable in its action upon presentation. I never know if the blade is going to actuate or not, which renders this knife useless for EDC. Finally, the small auxiliary belt-cutting, hooked blade on my orange version snapped right in half like a piece of pot metal after about 10 uses of cutting plastic strapping belts at job. This is the kind of inferior-materials crap that I would expect from a cheap $20 chinese knife. Done with Bear&Son. I'll stick with Gerber/Buck/ProTech for EDC...will need to find another solution for my job knife.
