Benchmade

The 4300-1 CLA (Composite Lite Auto) by Benchmade is an extremely lightweight automatic folder weighing in at only 3.47 oz. Depress the button and the blade fires into the open, locked position.

The 4300-1 AUTO CLA features a 154CM stainless steel blade and milled black/green layered G10 handles. 154CM is an American-made premium grade stainless steel originally developed for tough industrial applications. Known for its best all-around qualities, it offers great corrosion resistance with good toughness and edge quality. The drop-point blade has a slow convex-curved drop in the point which characterizes a drop-point blade. This blade format lowers the point for control but adds strength to the tip. It is a very popular blade shape and is a great all-around blade format.

Excellent Auto – Lightweight, Textured, and Built to Carry

The Benchmade 4300-1 CLA has quickly become one of my favorite automatic knives. What really stands out to me is the G10 handle texture—it’s smooth enough to slide in and out of the pocket, but still offers great grip and control in hand. Benchmade nailed the balance here.The action is fast, snappy, and dependable. The blade came razor sharp, and the overall weight makes it easy to carry all day without bulk. Whether I’m wearing jeans or hiking gear, it fits right into my EDC rotation.This knife is sleek, tough, and comfortable—and one of the best autos Benchmade offers. Highly recommended if you want a clean, low-profile automatic with premium feel and performance.

CLA 4300-1

This is my new EDC. It is sharp, lite and functions perfectly. I've carried a Spyderco Delica for years and always liked the one hand opening it has. I was hesitant to buy the Auto Benchmade because I thought it would be too big and heavy for EDC. I got a chance to handle one at a gun shop and that sold me.
