Combining all their previous knowledge of knifemaking, Bear Ops has introduced the next model of their automatic knife lineup. The Bold Action V AUTO folder is sized perfectly for EDC (every day carry) and can tackle any job you throw at it. The handles are CNC'd black G10 with excellent fit and finish. They're not only comfortable to hold but provide good traction when in use. The 4" Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade is deployed with the simple yet firm press of the button which is also used to unlock the blade. The safety prevents accidental blade opening when not in use, as well as closing when in use. The pocket clip can be positioned for left or right-handed tip-up carry.

Better in the pictures than closeup in the hand
Don't buy this knife. It looks nice in the pictures but I had to dissemble it and adjust the safety lock before it could open, close, and lock semi-properly. It has nylon bushings which is not necessarily bad but, in my experience they don't get along well with any oil or grit that might find its way inside the knife causing them to wear quickly. The blade is not centered in the handle. It is off-center ever so slightly. The sides of the blade are not well finished and show coarse grinding marks visible through the black finish.The safety does not have a positive, solid, detent type of positioning when engaged or disengaged so you are never quite sure whether it will open when attempting to fire the blade.---On the positive side, it is kind of neat looking with its unique blade shape and G10 handle material.
