Following in the footsteps of the Marukka and Irida flippers, the Samari has a similar design aesthetic and additional features that make it so appealing. First is the blade, a 3.82" drop point with an excellent thumb ramp and flat cutting surface right near the pivot. This allows you to get a lot of power behind each cut while also retaining plenty of belly for slicing and a devastatingly sharp stabbing point. Then, you have the handle with its slightly curved shape that slides into the hand with ease and a nice milling pattern to keep it securely there. The Samari carries very nicely in the pocket thanks to its slim physique and is outfitted with the standard Bestech Titanium line of upgrades including ceramic bearings and a lockbar insert/overtravel arrestor. This is our favorite Kombou design to date and we think it's an elegant yet hardworking EDC worthy of your consideration.
