The hefty clip point blade is deployed via a thumb stud, but nevertheless flies open once you overcome the detent thanks to excellent pivot construction. The comes in at over four inches and is made from S35VN stainless steel letting it handle heavy tasks with ease. The handles are comfortable to hold with the dual recesses allowing your finger to settle comfortably and the jimping on the back of the knife gives your thumb a place to rest as you bear down on the cut. The Keen II comes with several options for handle material including carbon fiber and a variety of G10 colors. An unobtrusive titanium pocket clip and lanyard hole give you discreet means to carry the knife, but the Keen II is far from discreet.
