Case Knives

The Marilla marks a modern chapter for Case knives. This new one-handed opening knife features an CPM-S35VN stainless steel drop point blade with a stonewashed finish. The knife handle is made of durable, lightweight anodized aluminum and a textured black G-10 center inlay for a reliable grip. Its flipper design offers quick and reliable deployment with a simple flip of your index finger and snaps open on a ball bearing pivot. The frame locking mechanism secures the blade in position when fully opened. A reversible deep-carry steel pocket clip allows for a comfortable, and versatile, pocket carrying experience. The Marilla name is shared with a local spring that's been a favorite spot for locals to explore and the knife is part of the first collection of Modern Everyday Carry knives to be made in their Bradford, PA factory.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Pocket Clip
Nice entry for case
I bought this knife for edc and work use and I’m really starting to like it. It came out of the box with a nice edge that I stropped a little to hone in. The fit and finish are nicely done with the blade centered with a great looking stonewash nicely nicely done. I personally really like aluminum handles and the g10 inlay is a nice touch for added grip. The flipper and action are are solid and the detent takes a little getting used to. In the future I would like to see case do a little bit more milling for the pocket clip and maybe recess it. the pan head screws used are too big and get hung up on your pocket. Overall it’s a great entry into edc for an all case made in usa knife. For someone that owns many of cases traditional designs this is a must have for my collection.

Nice intro from case
I bought this knife for EDC and work use, which it handles really well. The S-35VN was nice and sharp out of the box and, the stonewashed blade looks great. Nice flipper, but not great (hopefully it breaks in a little). The only real thing that bothers me are the raised pan head screws for the pocket clip, they tend to catch on your pants. In the future they could make them flush or smaller. Overall, really nice knife from case who is not traditionally known for modern flippers.
