Case Knives

The Kinzua is a modern chapter in the story of Case knives. This one-handed opening knife features a CPM-S35VN tanto blade with a stonewashed finish. The knife handle is made of durable, lightweight anodized aluminum with a triple-faceted face. Its flipper design offers quick and reliable deployment with a simple flip of your index finger and snaps open on a ball bearing pivot. The frame locking mechanism secures the blade in position when fully opened. A reversible deep-carry steel pocket clip allows for a comfortable, and versatile, pocket carrying experience. The Kinzua name is inspired by a scenic stretch of forest in the Allegheny region and the knife is a part of the first collection of Modern Everyday Carry knives to be crafted in their Bradford, PA factory.

Modern case knife with very good steel
Very good steel tanto blade, weight is tight to open in the beginning but loosens up with little use. The lock is lock liner lock is secure. The steel is very good and the knife is pretty sharp. Not razor sharp but normal pocket knife sharp. Modern knife. Good product

There is a lot I like about this knife. handle feel in my hand, blade shape and finish, size is perfect for me. Sharp out of the box.BUT, I was only able to flip the blade open to 45%. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 drops of oil at the edge of the bearings were just sucked up. Another 4 drops and loosening the pivot and now I can flip it open. I don't think the pivot should need to be this loose,Other than that I like it.It appears that Case should stick to slip joints.
